Position Description
As an Account Director, you will lead client service for brands that serve beef, dairy, swine and poultry producers and processors, along with the influencers and advisors who support them. As the key link between the agency and our clients, your mission is to understand their goals, anticipate their needs and guide them toward strategic, sustainable market positioning and implementation, all while keeping work on track with budget and deadlines. The role calls for working fluency in how cow-calf, feedlot, dairy, swine and poultry operations and processors run and make decisions. That expertise, paired with a real commitment to the livestock industry, will make you a trusted advisor to clients and a key resource for the agency team.
Who We’re Looking For
- A background in or around livestock operations, through upbringing, education or career
- Someone who follows the issues shaping the industry, including the cattle cycle, HPAI and ASF prevention, Prop 12, antibiotic stewardship, labor, traceability and sustainability
- Credibility with producers on the farm as well as executives in the boardroom
- An understanding that trust with producers is earned through accuracy and respect for how they work
What Makes This a Great Opportunity?
- You will be part of a purpose-driven, team-based agency that serves as a strategic marketing and communications partner to leading brands in livestock and agriculture
- Our culture of positive core values (Empowering, Purpose-driven, Forward-thinking and Inclusive) guides our interactions with clients and each other
- Work alongside a team with deep agriculture experience on brands that matter to the livestock industry
- We’re 100% employee-owned (and dog-friendly)
- We provide a continuous learning environment valuing ideas, solutions, collaboration and results
- Find your balance in a casual, friendly, hybrid work environment with flexible work hours
