A successful Vendor Account Manager will have superior communication skills to interact with all levels of both the vendor’s and our organization, be resourceful, self-driven and motivated, pay a high attention to details, be extremely organized and have strong follow through on projects.
The Vendor Account Manager will:
- Drive and achieve revenue goals by planning marketing strategies and tactics as well as follow-up analysis to measure effectiveness
- Develop cross channel marketing plans to increase sales with both new and current customers
- Build and communicate these plans with internal teams and external partners to ensure branding recognition and market share growth
- Utilize a marketable media rate kit to actively seek and obtain vendor support via Co-op/ MDF / Advertising and other opportunities to meet goal
- Lead Marketing communications and act as main point of contact for assigned vendor partner(s) both inside and outside our company
- Partner with internal departments to implement vendor marketing objectives and target markets for products
- Travel to Bi-annual or quarterly sales meetings at assigned vendor(s) home office, manage vendor relationship at Athlete photo shoots and possible event sponsorships.
