Your role and responsibilities:

We are looking for someone like you to join our team and help drive engagement and brand awareness. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in our ABB Drives Division in New Berlin, WI. 

Position Overview:

As the Tradeshow and Events Manager, you will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications - Drive Products, US. This hybrid role (#LI - Hybrid) offers the perfect blend of remote and on-site work, allowing you to thrive in a flexible environment.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of tradeshows, including booth layout, logistics, staffing, and on-site management, developing tradeshow budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing ROI and negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure the best terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align tradeshow strategies with overall business objectives, and analyze post-event data and provide detailed reports on performance, attendee engagement, and areas for improvement.
  • Plan and execute both in-person and virtual industry events, such as conferences, product launches, and networking events and webinars.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and virtual event platforms and develop promotional strategies to drive webinar registrations and attendance.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in tradeshow management, event planning, or a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and webinar platforms.
  • Analytical thinker, problem solver, able to look at metrics, data and ROI.
  • Ability to travel as required for tradeshows and events.
  • Candidate must already possess a work authorization that would allow them to work for ABB in the United States.
