The Sr. Creative Designer’s primary role will be in the day-to-day handling of design projects from print production to online. The designer will work primarily in Adobe Creative Suite. Daily projects will include designing digital, print and web graphics for Marcus Theatres within the sales, concessions, advertising and food & beverage departments. This position reports to the Creative Services Manager.

Develop art and design content for Theatre division brands and products for use in marketing, advertising and promotional materials. Projects include but not limited to:

  • Create, identify, and execute original and engaging design solutions
  • Brainstorm and collaborate with creative and marketing teams to build conceptual and strategic solutions
  • Organize daily requests and projects
  • Create motion graphics for digital network and on-screen use
  • Collaborate with other team members, freelance designers, design interns and external vendors, providing art direction when necessary.
  • 5-8 years design experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, or similar field
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite including: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Compelling portfolio of work exhibiting well-crafted layouts, strong typography and color
  • Outstanding communications skills - visually, verbally and in writing
  • Excellent project- and time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, manage and meet multiple concurrent deadlines 
  • Beneficial, but not required: Photography or photo art direction experience 
  • Knowledge or experience using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Soundbooth, Media Encoder, iMovie, Flash, HTML, CSS
