Join the Cereal Operating Unit as the Sr. Associate Brand Manager for Reese’s & Kid Variety! The Family Favorites Business Unit is the epicenter of kid fun, and this is a phenomenal opportunity to inspire and guide the team while managing a portfolio of classic family favorite cereals.

The Reese’s Puffs brand is on track to become an iconic brand in teen culture. The brand has experienced several consecutive years of share growth in the category and is well-positioned for future growth. The brand has partnered with Travis Scott, Lil Yachty and is in the middle of a partnership with KAWS, delivering $Vol & $hare growth YTD. In this role, you’ll have the chance to develop winning strategies and ideas and bring them to life in market through culturally relevant execution.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of classic, fun, kid cereal brands – Cocoa Puffs, Trix, Cookie Crisp, Golden Grahams and Kix! Combined, these brands own an important part of the market and General Mills share. They have deep consumer love and awareness and need strong future-looking strategies to maintain relevance with nostalgic adults and gain the attention of the next generation.

The capabilities and experiences you’ll build in this role include identifying & bringing ideas to life, managing the P&L, brand strategy, brand communications, & lead cross-functional teams.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Lead strategy & build growth ideas across all the 4Ps to achieve financial and volume targets with cross-functional team, including maintaining a pipeline of news 
  • Lead commercialization of product news and renovation initiatives 
  • Understand our Teen & Hispanic family’s consumer and work with CMI to identify key insights to put into action that will spark growth 
  • Partner closely with Brand Experience to build marketing plans that are aligned to the brand strategy, business objectives, and brand foundation. 
  • Manage the consumer budget and partner with Brand Experience to generate strong returns against spend
  • Manage the relationship with the Reese’s Master Brand at Hershey 
  • Partner with Demand Planning to forecast by applying business insights 
  • Partner with Sales to create and build merchandisable ideas to win with customers 
  • Partner with Cereal SGC team (WM, Target, E-Comm, Club) to tailor offerings as needed to win with key customers 
  • Collaborate across Brand team by mentoring peer ABMs and coaching BA/Sr. BAs 
  • Exhibit Engaging Leader behaviors and share innovative best practices and key capabilities and processes that unlock new growth ideas/opportunities 
  • Navigate the organization to accomplish goals, including working with four different Supply Chain teams and gaining buy-in from multiple OU key stakeholders on a case-by-case basis

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work/internship experience 
  • Background in: CPG Brand Marketing, Finance, Sales, Consulting or other leadership development program experience (industry agnostic) 
  • Large, matrixed organization experience 
  • Skills – Financial acumen, strategy, leadership 
  • Experience as an ABM or similar role

  • Thrives & demonstrates resilience in fast-paced, growth focused environment 
  • Ability to build strategy to balance short-term commitments and long-term brand health 
  • Strong, creative idea generator & gets excited about creating & executing new ideas quickly & getting them to market 
  • Highly collaborative with an ability to work across several different teams 
  • Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers 
  • Ability to identify and evaluate brand building ideas across 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals 
  • Ability to influence and inspire direct and cross-functional team
