Mueller Communications, a well-established and highly regarded communications and marketing firm, is looking to meet bright, ambitious entry-level stars to add to its talented team of professionals.

Our clients have high expectations and we are looking for A-players to take a collaborative problem-solving approach in exceeding those expectations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of close-knit teams and is looking to grow in the field of communications and/or marketing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver high quality drafts on time and within budget by utilizing available templates as well as internal editing/proofing resources
  • Prepare for client meetings by determining and executing duties as assigned, which might include research, agenda preparation, taking meeting notes and providing meeting recaps/summaries
  • Demonstrate professionalism in working with outside vendors and media in outreach, ordering, follow up, execution and project recap logistics as needed or assigned
  • Successfully pitch stories developed by your teams leveraging news releases and or pitches provided
  • Maintain relevant reports including social media mentions and / or earned media clip reports
  • Develop familiarity with key social media platforms and effectiveness strategies for each (e.g., frequency and format of posts)
  • Contributes to building of best in class digital campaigns in at least one of the following areas: SEM, SEO, programmatic advertising, social media, email/marketing automation
  • Basic operation of at least one marketing platform such as: Google Ads, programmatic advertising (display/video/CTV), social media, email/marketing automation

Qualifications that will make you stand out:

  • Strong writing and management skills
  • An eagerness to learn
  • Prior agency or media experience a plus
  • Local to Milwaukee and/or able to work a hybrid schedule
