Imagine yourself, part of Aurora Health Care's new eBusiness Digital Experience Team....Creating custom software to drive engaging Digital Consumer Experiences across multiple platforms using a variety of techniques and tools. Application and database programming for web and on-premise experiential systems. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains software solutions that support engaging consumer experiences by being fast, stable, secure and adhere to departmental quality standards. Ensures high-quality solutions by participating in peer review processes.
  • Contributes to coding standards, software development life cycle improvements and recommends new and innovative ideas to the team.
  • Identifies design issues and works to correct them or escalates them to management for resolution.
  • Works with Quality Assurance resources to identify and resolve software defects. Stays abreast of industry issues and trends regarding accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keeps team members informed as appropriate.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in software engineering (we have Associate, Staff, and Senior level).

Required technical skills:

  • C#
  • SQL Server and T-SQL
  • MVC (Not required for Associate level)
  • JavaScript
  • Object Oriented Programming (OOO) 

Preferred:

  • Sitecore (we will be moving to that platform)
  • Git, Subversion, Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • CSS
  • Secure Programming 
  • Unit Testing, Nunit, Microsoft Test Framework
  • Azure
  • Experience in digital / marketing agencies and/or healthcare would be helpful, but not required.
