Social Media Specialist

The Job at a Glance:

The Social Media Specialist (internally known as a #Enthusiast) will be part of our Digital Marketing team and be responsible for all aspects of Parts Town’s social media activities, including content planning and development, execution and tracking across all channels. You will be educating our teams on the implementation of new social media tactics and technologies, while also managing to our social media deliverables, timelines and budgets. A Typical Day:

• Plan and execute engagement and lead-driven social media strategies 
• Provide strategic planning, support and recommendations to include social media as an important element of marketing programs 
• Collaborate with our Marketing and Creative teams to ensure the branding/voice of all our social media outlets are cohesive with other channels and initiatives 
• Create and schedule social media content, including photo, video and engagement posts for all channels 
• Develop best-in-class social experiences with the help of cross-functional teams, including both in-office teams and remote teams around the globe 
• Leverage social media analytics to optimize campaigns and provide clear recommendations on how to further grow engagement and increase leads via social media 
• Build and utilize a social media calendar to plan and schedule posts throughout the year 
• Develop and manage vendor relationships to grow social reach, engagement and conversion while constantly keeping up with industry, digital marketing and social mediatrends

To Land This Opportunity:

• You have 1-3 years of relevant experience in social media marketing, digital marketing or other related fields (experience with an ecommerce business is a plus!) 
• You are active and have strong knowledge of utilizing Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and other social media platforms, including their marketing capabilities 
• You are familiar and comfortable with using social media marketing and analytics tools, such as Sprout Social, Google Analytics and in-platform insights to create reports on key metrics 
• You are able to create content using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, CapCut and After Effects 
• You work within deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives 
• You have passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written 
• You have excellent communication skills, pay close attention to detail and are self-motivated with the ability to quickly pick up new skills and learn new tasks 
• You are willing to be on camera for the occasional social media video when appropriate 
• You have the flexibility to occasionally travel with the team for tradeshows and/or video shoots

The salary range for this role is $48,921.20 - $65,457.14 annually ($23.52 - $31.47 per hour) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to basepay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
