The Social Media and Digital Marketing Strategist manages and executes the company's digital presence across multiple channels to drive engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. This role focuses on creating and curating high-quality content, analyzing performance metrics, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to maintain a cohesive digital strategy. The Specialist will monitor and optimize social media and advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with current trends and the target audience's interests.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and publish original and high-quality content across various social media platforms 
  • Analyze data and metrics to create weekly, quarterly, and yearly reports on digital advertising initiatives, web traffic, and public relation reach 
  • Manage company social media accounts to ensure relevant, up-to-date content 
  • Respond directly to comments and questions on social media posts 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to grow the company’s network and target new customers 
  • Monitor analytics and metrics to gauge success of social media posts, ad campaigns, and ecommerce 
  • Research social media trends that relate to our target audience’s interests 
  • Manage our social media content calendar for various channels, planning, posting, and scheduling content 
  • Maintain a cohesive digital strategy and voice across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement 
  • Coordinate with creators, outside agencies, and internal peers to promote brand awareness and create buzz 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in marketing or a related field 
  • Hands-on experience using social media and digital advertising to build brand awareness 
  • Experience with graphic design, photo/video editing, and publishing 
  • Ability to identify target audiences’ preferences and produce tailored content 
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest 
  • Understanding of SEO, digital advertising metrics, and web analytics 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
