The Opportunity
Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Senior Manager, Digital Content & Marketing to join our Global Brand Team. The Role
Are you a brand-builder and digital expert, who’s passionate about travel and hospitality? Hyatt’s global brand team is in search of a creatively inspired content strategist and digital marketing expert who will serve as a digital and social media steward across five brands. Reporting to the VP, Global Brand Leader, Timeless brands, this role is for someone who is a passionate brand builder, digital and social expert, and thrives in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of brand building and storytelling as well as driving strong digital marketing results.
This Senior Manager will serve as an advocate for five brands in the Hyatt portfolio: Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Studios. They will be responsible for developing & executing digital and social content and media strategies in partnership with brand team members, agency partners, and other internal content and digital stakeholders. This person will drive ideas from conception through to execution and market our brands in a way that is relevant to today’s culturally connected guests. Taking a data-driven approach to content strategy and media planning, they will develop and execute impactful campaigns and content across owned and paid channels, ensuring the look, feel, and voice of our brands show up authentically and consistently.
The primary job responsibilities are:
- Plan, manage, and execute digital and social content for five of Hyatt’s brands.
- Create and publish content strategy and plans, taking input from multiple data and stakeholder sources to ensure content is strategically aligned to business and brand vision. Educate hotels and colleagues supporting hotels on brand-level content strategy and provide them with tools, resources, and guidance to be brand-aligned.
- Manage the development/execution of social and digital-first photography and video content, leveraging content creators, influencers, freelancers, and agency partners. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure all content is engaging, informative, and on-brand.
- Collaborate with Senior Brand Managers and paid digital media team to plan campaigns and ensure a holistic approach to digital media presence.
- Identify new opportunities to develop social and digital-first brand activations as part of broader integrated brand campaigns. Deliver innovative, best-in-class campaigns to meet channel growth goals, ensuring omnichannel efforts are fully optimized.
- Maintain a deep understanding of digital and social metrics and manage ongoing reporting. Share feedback, case studies, best practices, and learnings from insights gained from community management, content reports, and social listening to brand teams and hotels.
- Provide digital and social thought leadership and work collaboratively with brand, digital, and social media teams from around the world.
