The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing omni-channel marketing strategies to generate brand awareness, engage target audiences, and convert leads. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to create and implement annual membership retention and growth marketing plans, and revenue-generating program campaigns.

Primary Responsibilitie:

  • Collaborate with ASGCT’s membership team to form annual membership renewal and recruitment campaign plans that articulate ASGCT’s unique value proposition. Implement and optimize channel tactics to achieve membership renewal and acquisition targets through lead generation and conversion.
  • Partner with revenue-generating program leads and stakeholders to create and execute revenue-generating program marketing plans, tactics and assets to achieve measurable initiative goals.
  • Create, monitor and adjust campaign budgets to achieve program goals and optimize ROI.
  • Develop and implement audience segmentation and personalization strategies for members, prospects and program participants to maximize touch point conversion. Journey-map the movement of lead generation to customer, customer to member, and member engagement to retention.
  • Recommend paid digital advertising budgets and manage ad placements to promote ASGCT programs and increase membership recruitment.
  • Lead the development of membership and ASGCT program collateral and traditional direct marketing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of related professional experience.
  • Experience with non-profits, associations, or academic institutions strongly preferred.
  • Experience with iMIS or similar membership database.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to generate internal buy-in based on demonstrated results.
  • Demonstrated creative thinker.
  • Ability to travelup to 2 weeks per year.
