We are seeking an outstanding visionary and practitioner to lead and implement the overall Digital transformation efforts for the Global Paper Division. The Senior Marketing Manager would develop a marketing strategy and execute Digital programs which drive exponential value for our customers by ensuring that our emerging Digital capabilities are married with our traditional strengths in science and service to deliver accelerated growth.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated expertise and experience in Digital strategy, innovation and execution. Experience in a well-regarded global industrial B2B company that has leveraged Digital solutions (internal and customer-facing) to gain competitive advantage is strongly preferred. This position reports to the Vice President of Global Paper Marketing.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute Digital marketing strategies, roadmaps and plans which deliver winning solutions and accelerated sales and profit growth. 
  • Work directly with our marketing and business leaders to ensure that our Digital strategies are well grounded in deep market, customer and competitive insights. 
  • Build/manage and prioritize the Digital product portfolio and develop a strong innovation pipeline through internal and external partnerships. 
  • Deliver innovation pipeline through cross functional collaboration within paper division and across the digital departments. 
  • Implement the global programs that integrate existing chemistries, equipment, and services with Digital capabilities to deliver a coherent, compelling, and highly differentiated value proposition. 
  • Based on a thorough understanding of customers' value drivers, ensure appropriate segmentation, positioning, pricing, and value proposition of Digital offerings. 
  • Explore and deploy new value capture models that monetize Digital solutions and create new revenue streams for sustainable financial success, across the regions. 
  • Optimize and integrate existing Digital tools, identify current regional Digital field enablement gaps, and work with global teams to develop Digital solutions to provide more leading-edge capabilities to our field sales for both analytics and reporting 
  • Ensure superior change management to drive strong external customer and internal sales/marketing adoption of digital solutions. 
  • Develop robust support plans to allow rapid adoption. 
  • Develop playbook for successful deployment of Digital offerings in alignment with business and technical teams. 
  • Develop key performance/adoption metrics and tracking of deployment and customer value realization. 
  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to support business needs, goals and objectives. 
  • Develop and nurture quality partnerships between and across all regions and utilize those relationships to enhance our global programs and value proposition.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree. An advanced degree or MBA is strongly preferred. 
  • 8 years of strategy, marketing or sales, & Digital marketing experience and a proven track record of working closely with senior leadership and global accountability. 
  • 5 years’ experience in digital strategy, innovation, and execution. 
  • 5 years’ experience in the industrial B2B space leveraging digital solutions (internal and customer-facing) to gain competitive advantage. 
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience and success in strategizing and innovating in the commercial Digital space, spanning customer-facing applications, e-commerce, and mobile with cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams across matrix organizations. 
  • Strong business acumen, including familiarity with a range of value capture and monetization models. 
  • Experience in Digital marketing organization and team design, cross-functional collaboration, governance and sponsorship models. 
  • Familiarity with agile processes and techniques to test, learn and build solutions that deliver on business requirements. 
  • Experience developing budgets and forecasts to support business needs, goals and objectives 
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated skill in white space thinking, with a customer-focused approach. Excellent capacity and the creative energy to collect and synthesize market, technical, and business insights into outstanding strategies that delight the customer and significantly outpace the competition. 
  • Execution: Ability to grasp the big picture and chart a course, including delivering on immediate needs to deliver projects that incrementally build toward the big picture. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong project management skills to successfully execute multiple projects across various functions and locations and seamlessly deliver the target value proposition to customers. 
  • People- and Relationship-oriented. Thinks about how people will be affected and skilled at dealing with others. Focused on building and maintaining key relationships to get things done. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Natural collaborator and influencer with a preference for working with cross-regional, cross-functional teams to champion the vision and deliver results on tight timelines. 
  • Communication: Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both within and outside the business. Encourages discussion. 
  • Technology Savvy: Stays abreast of technology developments pertinent to Digital innovation.
