We are looking for a Senior Manager, Catalyst to join our Golin Chicago team! The ideal candidate has a strong interest in home, tech and food & beverage PR.

You’ll work as a trusted advisor to client leadership across communications and marketing functions in a fast-paced environment to counsel and ensure client satisfaction over programming for numerous consumer electronics categories. You’ll develop and motivate an inclusive, best-in-class internal team that rolls up their sleeves and goes above and beyond to deliver for the agency’s largest client and one of the world’s most recognized brands.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to champion brave, award-winning work, and then see it through. This person will be comfortable serving as a day-to-day lead throughout the campaign process. You can drive earned media strategies and executions with autonomy that keep our clients relevant with top media and consumers. You understand what it means to EARN attention and you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves on all tactical matters from media to digital, collaborating closely with other agency partners. You can apply client feedback into actionable next steps, working with a rockstar, A-List team to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as day-to-day client lead on campaign programming, particularly culturally relevant event activations, product launches and always on cultural integration 
  • Develop an intimate knowledge of your client’s brands 
  • Lead day to day communications with clients on strategic and tactical campaign matters, helping to connect strategic dots across all aspects of the business 
  • Champion the use of new technologies and tools, including AI 
  • Stay at the forefront of the intersection of culture and your client’s brands 
  • Be comfortable generating new ideas and opportunities for the development of strategic client plans and assist with the creation of related budgets 
  • Partner with key team members in the other g4 communities to develop, sell-in and execute traditional media and social media plans 
  • Partner with IAT agencies and develop integrated communications plans 
  • Manage up to senior account leads with autonomy and assist with supervision and development of junior team members 
  • Successfully develop and manage client program budgets, with large account financial experience a plus 
  • Work well with a variety of key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Excel at verbal and written client, interpersonal and intra-team communications 
  • Pitch, WIN and execute award winning work with an incredible team!

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline 
  • 5-7 years mid-level PR agency or related professional communications experience at a mid to large sized agency, including IAT integration experience 
  • A proven track record in account management, account growth, and leadership of integrated teams 
  • Excellent writing, copy-editing, and proof-reading skills 
  • A sharp mind, a good memory, positive, can-do attitude and an attention to detail are absolutely key in this position 
  • Experience leading coordination with external vendors, production teams, and suppliers 
  • Strong program management experience (planning, execution, budget management) 
  • Proven ability to execute programs with large budgets and keep clients and leadership updated on budget trends 
  • Experience working on large consumer, consumer electronics or lifestyle brands a plus! 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent writing, copy-editing, and proof-reading skills
