Position Summary:
The Senior Director of Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's mission, vision, and goals. This individual will lead the corporate communications team, overseeing public relations, media relations, internal communications, investor relations messaging, and crisis management to enhance the company’s reputation and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication Leadership:
- Develop and implement a corporate communication strategy that supports business objectives and enhances brand positioning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team on all matters related to communications and reputation management.
Media and Public Relations:
- Cultivate relationships with key media outlets and journalists to ensure positive coverage of company initiatives and announcements.
- Oversee press releases, media briefings, and executive interviews, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.
Investor Relations Messaging:
- Partner with the investor relations team to ensure alignment of messaging across all stakeholder communications.
- Oversee the development of investor relations materials, including quarterly earnings scripts, key messages, and investor presentations.
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to craft clear and compelling communications for earnings calls and other investor engagements.
Internal Communications:
- Design and execute internal communication programs that foster employee engagement, alignment with company goals, and a strong corporate culture.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to communicate organizational changes, updates, and initiatives effectively.
Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the company’s reputation during challenging times.
- Act as the primary spokesperson during crisis events, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
Brand and Reputation Management:
- Lead initiatives to strengthen the company’s brand identity and reputation among stakeholders, including investors, customers, and partners.
- Monitor and analyze public sentiment and provide recommendations for proactive reputation management.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing corporate communications team.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts.
The annual salary range for this role is $168,960- $253,440. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
