We are looking for a mid-level SEO Manager with a strong focus on content creation to join our ecommerce (Marketing) team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about SEO and excels at crafting compelling content that boosts organic traffic. The SEO Manager will take charge of all content writing and optimization for our website, ensuring our online presence is engaging and effectively reaches our target audience. While this position has no direct reports, it involves close collaboration with the marketing and product teams. Experience in B2B marketing is preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute our overall SEO strategy, owning and driving the SEO roadmap while leading continuous efforts to identify product, content, UX, and technical SEO projects to grow S&S Activewear's organic traffic. 
  • Write and optimize high-quality, SEO-friendly content for various sections of the website, including product pages, landing pages, and other key areas 
  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for new content and optimize existing content. 
  • Regularly update and optimize existing website content to ensure it aligns with current SEO best practices. 
  • Track and analyze content performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms. Provide insights and recommendations to improve organic traffic and search rankings. 
  • Work closely with the marketing and merchandising to ensure content is consistent with brand guidelines and optimized for both search engines and user experience. 
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of SEO best practices and content opportunities. 
  • Collaborate with the development team to address technical SEO issues and ensure the website is optimized for search engines. 
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our content strategy is innovative and effective.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in search engine optimization, with a proven track record of improving search rankings, organic traffic, and revenue in eCommerce. 
  • Strong expertise in SEO strategy development and execution, with a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking methods, and best practices. 
  • Proficiency in web analytics and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, BrightEdge, SEOMoz) and experience in building dashboards and analyzing results. 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, English, or a related field. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
