Great Wolf Lodge is an icon in the family hospitality industry. As a complete family entertainment destination, Great Wolf Lodge features everything under one roof. The centerpiece of the resort is the massive indoor waterpark. At 84 degrees year-round, the waterpark is true weather-proof fun.
Great Wolf Lodge opened its first resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin in 1997 with 117 suites and 20,000 square feet of indoor water park space. With its early success, the company expanded capacity just two years later to offer 309 suites and 40,000 square feet of water park and in less than 10 years expanded to current capacity of 437 suites and 76,000 square feet of water park.
Following the early success of this first Lodge, Great Wolf Resorts began to realize the potential of its fully integrated, branded family vacation experience by replicating in popular markets across North America. Today Great Wolf operates 13 family entertainment resorts with its most recent opening in Colorado Springs and currently has 3 additional lodges under development scheduled to open in the next 12 months.
Great Wolf Resorts was purchased by Centerbridge Partners in 2015 and has plans to continue to add new resorts across the United States and to begin exploring international expansion.
