HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

The Product Marketing Coordinator manages business-critical processes within the Product Marketing department, including price increase and adjustment, competitive price maintenance, pricing document creation, ECN processing, and snowfall & truck sales reporting. The position leverages strong cross-functional relationships upstream and down, and a growing knowledge of the business to drive continuous improvement and efficiency within those processes. The position may lead cross-functional teams in executing improvement work. The position will provide short-term support for critical product management functions associated with product life cycle management, new product development, voice-of-customer activities, and sales support.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

  • Manages key Product Marketing processes to align with and execute product line strategies including price increase & adjustment, competitive price sourcing & maintenance, pricing document creation, new application (mount & harness) launch, and ECN processing.
  • Owns and executes the compilation and assembly of annual Pre-Season pricing documents.
  • Owns and orchestrates the compilation, analysis, and reporting of snowfall and truck sales market data to key stakeholders.
  • Owns and executes the Product Management role within the ECN process, by:
    • Completing required fields in PDC (internal database) prior to engineering release
    • Communicating with respective Product Managers, the product changes taking place and providing the necessary support on follow-up and/or action items required as part of the ECN
    • Documenting new or updated item information in SOX workbook, new product inclusion matrix, and other relevant tools to facilitate pricing, product enrichment, sales planning, and other key upstream processes
  • Provides support for Product Management functions during new product development projects.
  • Assists in the identification, development, and release of promotional sales programs, sales aids, and training materials.
  • Assists in the rationalization of component part pricing and entry into TCM (internal database), through analysis of existing pricing, competitive pricing, etc.
  • Assists in the documentation of work standards for the department.
  • Keeps work area (tools, materials, and equipment) clean and orderly.
  • Participates when feasible with teams formed to create continuous improvement efforts in systems and procedures.
  • Follows Company safety rules; maintains safe work area and equipment. Promptly report or resolve any unsafe condition.
  • Follows Company policies and procedures regarding work and conduct.

OTHER DUTIES:

  • Assist in the development of advertising copy, merchandising, sales programs, and campaigns
  • Assist in the development of Marketing and Sales bulletins
  • Facilitate after-action review meetings for price increases, Pre-Season launches, and other key processes
  • Assist in the preparation of various industry trade shows and exhibits

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

Education/Experience: BA in Marketing or Business Administration.

Experience and/or Training: 3+ years experience in a Marketing role. Good business sense and commitment to defend the best interests of the products and brands.

Licenses/Certificates: Driver’s license required.

Technology/Equipment: Willingness to learn and comprehend structural, electrical, and hydraulic language and terminology to work closely with the Product Managers, as well as the other functional departments, and effectively communicate product features, advantages, and benefits to the Sales organization, Advertising, and prospective customers. Expert knowledge of Windows-based programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as statistical analysis packages. Internet and social media skills are critical to success in the role.
