PR Account Executive

We’re seeking a PR & Social Media Account Executive to join our team. The qualified candidate will bring excellent foundational public relations and corporate communications experience with a solid working knowledge of applying social media content and influence in the real world.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to work alongside and learn from experienced professionals. In this role, you will develop media lists, pitch media, write compelling content, work with content creators and influencers, plan events, analyze social media, and more. We are looking for a positive, energetic professional who is a strong writer and proofreader, problem-solver, and idea-generator.

The PR & Social Media Account Executive will be a key player on significant accounts by providing exceptional day-to-day tactical execution. This will include preparing assets and information for client meetings, client counsel, client media and mentions tracking, writing compelling media materials, and engaging with journalists and producers to tell great stories.

Tasks will also include:

• Media clip reporting, research, pitching, and networking 
• Tactical PR and social media account execution 
• Management of editorial and event calendars for clients and colleagues

• You must be intellectually curious while always maintaining a desire to tell the next great story for your client 
• You must have an action-oriented default setting 
• You must be able to write, especially for news media 
• You should be comfortable with a fluid, autonomous, and professional environment
