MOTIS Brands is looking for an experienced Paid Search Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and executing ecommerce PPC strategies that drive high-quality traffic to achieve monthly sales goals. You’ll be managing campaigns with $200,000+ average monthly ad spend across Google PMAX/Shopping, Search, Display/Video, Bing Ads, Facebook, etc. This position reports to the Acquisition Marketing Manager and you’ll be working alongside 2 other Paid Search Specialists.

  • Manage large-scale paid search, shopping, & social campaigns across multiple ad platforms including but not limited to: Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook and Criteo
  • Collaborate daily with the Paid Media Team to plan and develop comprehensive strategies to drive new user acquisition and product sales to meet monthly goals
  • Develop & own your segments’ strategy, responsible for creating campaigns, writing effective ad copy, conducting keyword and competitor research, optimizing bids and modifiers, and optimizing product feeds
  • Analyze bids for SKUs, keywords, day parts, devices, demographics, and location targeting
  • Continuously monitor and improve search term mapping, ad relevance, expected CTR, and landing page experience through A/B testing 
  • Collect and analyze campaign performance data, including click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Collaborate with the Product Team on product line knowledge, margin performance, and seasonal trends 
  • Coordinate with content marketing teams to align ad messaging with broader brand strategy
  • Perform in-depth campaign reviews and develop recommendations for growth and improvement 
  • Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency within team processes 
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports in Excel & Google Sheets as well as utilize BI reporting tools such as Domo & PowerBI 
  • Meaningfully present performance and strategy updates to colleagues and department heads who may have limited knowledge of PPC 
  • Stay current on digital marketing best practices, search engine advertising policies, search engine algorithm updates and industry wide e-commerce trends
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience managing hundreds of search, PMAX/shopping, and display campaigns, especially in an ecommerce capacity 
  • Experience managing branding & product-focused ad campaigns on Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube 
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 and how to leverage web data to improve Paid Search performance 
  • Strong copywriting skills to create compelling ad copy and messaging that resonates with target audience Microsoft Excel proficiency – you’re comfortable executing VLOOKUPs, Text-To-Columns, concatenations, conditional formatting, ROI analyses etc. 
  • Can effectively collaborate in a team environment with a positive attitude and constructive communication – you’re excited to be part of a team that challenges you and succeeds together! 
  • Comfortable with a highly team-orientated approach, with daily check-ins, analyses, brainstorming, discussions, and tag-team implementation style 
  • Extreme attention to detail – you’re diligent about double-checking work and can identify data anomalies and formula errors 
  • Self-starter mentality – when needed, you can develop and execute strategy on your own with little guidance 
  • Ability to multi-task and remain productive in-between projects 
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and can thrive in a fast-paced environment 
  • Outstanding analytical skills in order to examine complex issues and develop recommendations to solve marketing challenges 
  • Experience with Google/Bing Ads Editor 
  • Experience with Google/Bing Merchant Center 
  • Experience with Amazon Ads, eBay Sponsored Listings, Walmart Ads a plus (though not essential) 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
