Rocket Clicks is seeking an energetic Organic Search (SEO) Analyst to join our team!

Organic Search (SEO) Analyst Primary Responsibilities:

  • Master Rocket Clicks’ approach to Search Engine Optimization with the goal of continuous growth of organic sales and qualified lead generation for our client partners
  • Effectively use both internal and external tools such as Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Majestic, SEMrush, Advanced Web Ranking, Moz, Xenu and Screaming Frog for maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Research and understand our clients’ businesses and the needs of their owners, customers and stakeholders to discover opportunities that increase our ability to positively impact their organic search reach, rankings and conversions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships with timely verbal and written communication and by always delivering on our promises and upholding Rocket Clicks’ standards of communication.
  • Analyze competitors to understand their SEO practices, learn from them as appropriate and stay in front.
  • Stay up to date on applicable algorithm changes and SEO industry best-practices and share what you learn with fellow Rocket Clicks team members.
  • Work in collaboration with fellow Rocket Clicks team members to provide training and coaching for SEO interns and Jr. Analysts.
  • Assist with SEO department leadership
  • On behalf of our clients be knowledgeable and ready to execute on SEO best practices.
  • Write novel, relevant copy for use in on-site, external and mini-site content pages and edit and enhance existing content to achieve a consistent voice and purpose for clients.
  • Perform audits of client content and determine potential areas of development
  • Track rankings, conversions and client KPIs; Report on performance and areas of need or focus; Leverage on-page factors by altering and testing on-page elements and monitoring results
  • Audit and consult on client website architecture for best performance on the search engines as well as the planning, indexing and ranking of new web sites while keeping usability in mind
  • Develop link building strategies, foster relationships and increase number of quality backlinks
  • Create and post content in various CMSs
  • Advise on layout and write site content in a way that minimizes distractions, influences the visitor and has appropriate calls to action in accordance with client goals

What Type of Experience Are We Expecting?

Sr. Organic Search (SEO) Analyst Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years SEO experience with on-site optimization, link building and copywriting
  • Passion for SEO and online marketing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of website architecture, with ability to edit basic HTML for SEO
  • Proficient with common SEO tools such as Moz, Majestic, SEMrush, Link Research Tools, etc.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster Tools and CMS admin
