This is a remote, part-time opportunity to collaborate with our team to serve the firm's food and beverage processing industry (B2B) clients.
As an independent contractor, you’ll:
✅ Develop and execute media relations strategies aligned with client goals
✅ Research and pitch compelling story ideas to trade food processing media
✅ Build and maintain strong media relationships
✅ Monitor editorial calendars to identify and pursue coverage opportunities
✅ Coordinate media interviews, brief clients and manage follow-ups
✅ Write and tailor media-facing content (pitches, news announcements, Q&As)
✅ Track, analyze and report media coverage (Agility, Cision, CoverageBooks)
Flexible, M-F business hours (typical contracts are 20 hours/month, with potential for more)
