The Media Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day trafficking, setup and reconciliation of print, digital, broadcast, and select social advertising campaigns. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is capable of multitasking and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring that each element is properly tracked and delivered on schedule, and that placements, invoices and budgets are reconciled with the finance and accounting team. The Media Operations Manager will work closely with media, account, project management and accounting to ensure that ad delivery meets the specified requirements and is optimized for performance, and that invoice reconciliation is smooth, efficient and organized.

RESPONSIBILITIES, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Coordinate with media strategists, project managers and clients to receive all needed assets for campaign launches. 
  • Traffic, test, and maintain campaigns in the ad serving system, ensuring that all placements and creative meet quality and technical specifications. 
  • Monitor campaign delivery via ad serving technology, adjusting as necessary to ensure full delivery and optimal performance. 
  • Manage creative specs/needs/timelines for social campaigns and creative. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise including discrepancies, creative alignment to specs and technical issues. 
  • Oversee efficient and accurate invoicing and reconciliation with the finance team 
  • Desire to build and lead a team of media operations and project managers. 
  • Collaborate with media partners to facilitate communication and ensure proper implementation and tracking of campaigns. 
  • Provide technical support and guidance to teams and clients regarding ad specifications and capabilities. 
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in ad trafficking and make recommendations for process improvements. 
  • Work with various internal teams to create a seamless workflow for ad operations. 
  • Assist with the creation and documentation of ad trafficking policies and procedures. 
  • Proactive problem solving and high issues awareness. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ad trafficking with a thorough understanding of digital advertising systems and tools like DoubleClick, Sizmek, or similar ad serving platforms. 
  • Knowledge of social media channels and advertising needs (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube) 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with external clients and build strong relationships. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and all Google platforms 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. 
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
