The Marketing Manager reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Partner Engagement and works out of Life Link III’s Shoreview, MN, location. The Marketing Manager collaborates with the Sr. Director of Marketing & Partner Engagement on developing and managing marketing, partner engagement, and communications programs that support the mission of Life Link III. The role prioritizes branding, effective messaging and communication, and meeting the needs of internal and external audiences. This role aligns marketing, communications, event planning, and branding efforts with partner engagement, hospital/EMS outreach, customer service, community engagement, and philanthropy initiatives. Embraces and lives out Life Link III’s mission and values.

Job Duties:

Marketing and Communications

  • Collaborates with Sr. Director of Marketing & Partner Engagement in executing tactics related to the annual marketing plan. 
  • Assists in managing outside consultants (agencies, designers, writers, etc.) to develop strategic marketing materials for target audiences/key stakeholders. 
  • Manages development and implementation of ongoing communications/campaigns (e.g., printed materials, website, social media, etc.). 
  • Responsible for the content development of the Life Link III intranet site and supporting employer branding initiatives. 
  • Manages Life Link III collateral and conference inventory and giveaways. 
  • Manages Life Link III corporate memberships. 
  • Conducts a timely market research survey to identify the needs of external partners. 

Events/Conferences 

  • Attends conferences aligned with role/target audience to staff Life Link III exhibit booth.
  • Coordinates and manages all event-related materials orders with outside vendors. 
  • Sources and maintains inventory of conference materials. 
  • Supports social media promotion efforts for conferences/updates/news.

Website/Social Media/Communication Tools

  • Serves as website owner for functionality and content management, coordinating timely updates on Life Link III website and internal intranet. 
  • Responsible for developing and managing Life Link III’s social media strategy and presence. 
  • Maintains customer database and manages internal and external communications. Supports continued advancements of internal intranet.

Public Relations/Media Relations

  • Serves as project manager for Life Link III public relations activities and collaborates with Sr. Director of Marketing & Partner Engagement in overall plan/campaign development and related materials. 
  • Coordinates media inquiries in collaboration with the Sr. Director of Marketing and Partner Engagement.

Philanthropy

  • Supports the Executive Director of Philanthropy in developing collateral development and supporting materials for giving solicitations, program and event sponsorships, and funding proposals. 
  • Assists in the development and distribution of philanthropic-focused social media content. 
  • Attends fundraising and constituent engagement events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience of demonstrated success in a marketing role. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or a related discipline. 
  • Highly charismatic, enthusiastic self-starter with experience in brand development. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to edit and review work to meet a high-quality standard. 
  • Critical thinking ability while executing on the details and tactical implementation. 
  • Superior project management and time management skills - able to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously and prioritize as necessary. 
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as Power BI, Google Analytics, CRM, and content management systems. 
  • Thorough knowledge, understanding, and experience in and managing various social media, intranet, and digital platforms. 
  • Creative and leads with positivity, curiosity and a proactive approach. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work as a team. 
  • High self-confidence, maturity, discretion, diplomacy and empathy. 
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous healthcare experience 
  • Previous aviation experience 
  • Event management background/experience 
  • Customer service and database management experience
