As the Marketing Manager, Electronics, you’ll manage the strategic development and execution of marketing initiatives designed to build brand awareness, consideration, and sales for the assigned category. To succeed in this role, the individual will need creativity, a strong understanding of brand and product marketing and excellent project management skills. This position will collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to become an expert on Element products and the consumer electronics category while directly supporting the marketing team to achieve company-wide and marketing goals.

New Product & Integrated Marketing

  • Crafts product positioning and messaging for assigned product categories and communicates the value proposition of our products to differentiate us in the market, solidify our position, and resonate with customers 
  • Unifies and collaborates with product and operations to define opportunity spaces, develop and launch a portfolio of products, acting as the voice of the customer and consumer for Element Electronics 
  • Develop go-to-market strategies with ongoing and key seasonal moments, and with the broader marketing team, ensure the creation of effective content, directing holistic marketing plans across paid, earned and owned channels. 
  • Create marketing briefs that are clear and concise and grounded in consumer insights to deliver on marketing objectives, garner support from cross-functional partners and guide internal creative team and agency partners. 
  • Understands and intakes analysis of product and retailer data and insights to determine effectiveness, creating meaningful implications

Brand Management & Strategy

  • Implements the brand positioning and extension of that positioning internally and externally ensuring strong consumer-centric messaging and relevant brand experience in the marketplace 
  • Evaluates ongoing voice of customer needs, brand insights, and industry research to create a consumer-first mindset and identifies opportunities to close knowledge gaps and discover new insights 
  • Champions the customer and leverages insights and input from sales and cross-functional teams towards developing and executing effective plans and programs. 
  • Contribute to the creation of compelling sales presentations that effectively communicate the brand and product value proposition

Team Collaboration & Thought Leadership

  • Builds strong and trusted relationships with internal teams, business leadership and external agencies; is seen and leveraged as a Brand SME 
  • Partners with sales operations to build customer support tools 
  • Maintains effective internal communications to ensure all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives 
  • Conduct ongoing in-depth monitoring of category marketing dynamics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (emphasis in marketing/business/management or related field) 
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, product marketing, advertising or related field 
  • Consumer goods experience preferred, but not required 
  • You are a brand-first marketing champion and creative professional who can push and advocate for brand thinking; you have a passion for brand storytelling and a foundational marketing skill set 
  • Proven experience in developing sophisticated go-to-market plans across multiple channels 
  • Highly collaborative and equal parts strategic and tactical, creative and analytical

Salary Description: $85,000 - $105,000
