ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Marketing Data Analyst for Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) will play a pivotal role in creating data-driven reports and visualizations, aiding in the communication of key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders. They will contribute to the strategic decision-making process by providing actionable insights derived from comprehensive analyses of digital marketing data. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, analytical acumen, and collaboration skills to ensure the continuous improvement and success of digital marketing initiatives.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE:

  • GA4, GTM, & Web Expertise: Utilize your proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to set up and manage profiles, audiences, events, conversions, and custom attributes/parameters. Additionally, contribute to the design of advanced measurement and tracking for cross-channel campaign execution. Ensure data tracked in Google Analytics is accurate and meets current measurement needs. 
  • Data Engineering: Harness data engineering processes within BigQuery to extract valuable insights from Google Analytics (GA). Employ GoogleSQL to shape and structure data, enabling the creation of essential business data tables. Write queries against Google Analytics 4 dataset in BigQuery for advanced analysis and preparation for data visualization in other platforms. Provide recommendations for management the flow, storage, and analysis of disparate datasets Web Testing Vendor. 
  • Reporting & Visualization: Design and construct reports and dashboards using visualization tools such as Looker Studio and Microsoft Power BI. Ensure that these resources are efficient, replicable, and well-documented to meet the needs of marketing, sales, and leadership stakeholders. Provide regular analysis of website performance using Looker Studio reports and ad hoc analysis from data in other analytics platforms. 
  • Administrative Oversight: Administer digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, and Tag Manager tools. Maintain a proactive role in ensuring the proper functioning and optimization of these tools. 
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with marketing, sales, agency partners, and other stakeholders to establish customer journey analyses and media-mix modeling tools. Collaborate on the analysis of global website properties, identifying areas for user experience improvement and conversion optimization. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct thorough analyses of marketing programs and paid media tactics, providing insightful recommendations for continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Data Science, Business or related field 
  • 5+ years in data visualizations, building reports/dashboard and similar outputs 
  • 5+ years of Google Analytics (1+ years with GA4) and Google Tag Manager experience 
  • 5+ years of experience with Google BigQuery and the ability to create visualizations in Looker Studio 
  • 5+ years of experience with data modeling, market segmentation and data warehousing 
  • Proficient with GCP BigQuery, SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis methodologies and execution 
  • Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases, including optimization and design. 
  • Experience with one or more data visualization applications such as Power BI, Tableau, or other 
  • Experience demonstrating analytical capabilities to various levels of leadership 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to Senior Management, Marketing Team, and our Field Sales Team 
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing priorities

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree or M.B.A 
  • Experience with enterprise-wide platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Call Rail, Twilio & Azure
