Marketing Communications Specialist

Alegeus is the market leader in consumer directed healthcare (CDH) solutions, offering the industry’s most comprehensive platform for the administration of healthcare benefit accounts (including FSAs, HSAs, HRAs), the industry’s most widely-used benefit debit card, and powerful engagement solutions to help consumers maximize savings and optimize spending for their healthcare.

More than 500 clients – including health insurance plans, third party administrators, benefit brokers and financial institutions – leverage the Alegeus CDH platform to administer healthcare benefit accounts on behalf of their employer group customers. The Alegeus revenue model is based on selling our platform to new clients (1st sale), ensuring that those clients effectively sell their account offerings to employer groups (2nd sale), and ensuring that those employer groups effectively drive account enrollment, activation and utilization by their employees (3rd sale).

This position is a marketing role intended to help optimize the 2nd sale outcomes.

Job Duties:

• Provide strategic marketing and communication support to Alegeus clients to optimize their sales of account-based offerings to prospective employer group customers 
• Develop marketing communication plans and content to achieve desired outcomes – including collateral, multi-media, presentations, integrated programs, proposal/RFP response content, and more 
• Manage marketing/communications projects from start to finish; review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and expectations are met 
• Articulate clear communication themes and messages for account-based benefit programs (such as HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, dependent care and commuter accounts) 
• Content creation – writing, collaboration with graphic design resources, agencies or other outside vendors 
• Collaborate with Alegeus team members and clients to encourage adoption of “best practice” marketing approaches and communication models 
• Work in partnership with Alegeus’ client-facing teams to optimize “2nd sales” outcomes 
• Provide additional marketing project support for the Alegeus Technologies marketing team as needed 

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent experience required 
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing or communications 
• Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful 
• Exceptional verbal, written communications and presentation skills 
• Prior success working with consumer directed healthcare plans and/or healthcare accounts 
• Experience creating, executing and driving exceptional results from integrated communication strategies
