The Marketing Automation Specialist provides end-to-end automation support aimed at strengthening Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT’s) Fireplace Business Unit brands and market share, while focused on growing revenue. You will be a super user working in the marketing automation platform (Marketing Cloud) and fully leveraging its capabilities.

In this role you will have a foundation in marketing automation and will be tasked with creating, implementing, and improving best practices and continual enhancement of digital marketing efforts. You will be responsible for understanding digital engagement metrics and helping implement strategies to increase customer engagement.

What you will do:

Email Campaign & Deployment

  • Plan, build, test, deploy, and monitor B2B and B2C lifecycle email marketing campaigns including nurture streams that pull our audiences through the purchase journey. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to determine goals, KPIs, audience segments, cadence, and creative for each campaign. 
  • In partnership with the Director, Digital Marketing make recommendations based on business requirements and desired goals with goals to optimize the delivery and cadence of communications. 
  • Perform A/B testing to drive improved results, as well as, sharing these learnings with stakeholders to inform future strategy & direction.

Data & Reporting

  • Assist with effective database segmentation that results in delivering the right message to the right person at the right time. 
  • Maintain and optimize email subscription status in compliance with all necessary email regulations including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and CCPA. 
  • Analyze data and communicate to stakeholders to identify possible areas for improvement. 
  • Assess data integrity & hygiene: cleanliness, completeness, duplicates. 
  • Assess use of segmentation, filters, static lists.

Operations

  • Audit existing marketing automation processes and practices to identify areas of opportunity. 
  • Interpret and implement digital best practices for email, personalization, segmentation, and data-capture from forms and landing pages. 
  • Collaborate with IT and other partners on tool development, such as data integration and API. 
  • Maintaining Marketing Automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automationsoftware. 
  • Partner cross-functionally to manage data integrity and database hygiene, maximizing ability to market to contacts. 
  • Enforce digital governance and contact strategy processes.

Templates, Programs, and Workflows

  • Manage the use, configurations, and updates to emailtemplates. 
  • Oversee web form configuration, usage, and ongoing optimization 
  • Review email template usage and layouts for driving desired conversion results. 
  • Optimize flows, content, and cadence to achieve higher B2C/B2B conversion rates and drive more qualified prospects into the sales pipeline.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 0-2 or more years of marketing automation experience 
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification 
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) 
  • Knowledge of HTML and AMPscript 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Organized and self-motivated with a sense of urgency 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a project-oriented, diverse team environment 
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities with supervision
