We are looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to lead strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing automation programs for both our agency and our clients. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and project management skills to drive results across multiple platforms, with a primary focus on HubSpot. Our ideal candidate is someone who is analytical & data-driven, creative & strategic, tech-savvy, highly organized, collaborative, and communicative. Prior experience in an agency setting is a plus, since they'll need to manage multiple clients (including EPIC's own efforts) and projects simultaneously.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy Development: 

  • Develop and implement marketing automation strategies that align with both client and internal business objectives 
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to optimize lead generation, lead nurturing, and customer retention strategies
  • Identify automation opportunities and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, engagement, and ROI

Technical Implementation:

  • Configure, optimize, and maintain HubSpot and other marketing automation platforms to support marketing and sales alignment
  • Develop and manage workflows, lead scoring models, segmentation, A/B testing, and email automation 
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure seamless CRM, analytics, and third-party platform integrations 

Campaign Management:

  • Create and optimize email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and lead nurturing programs to maximize engagement 
  • Monitor deliverability, segmentation, and automation rules to ensure the best results
  • Conduct A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve conversion rates

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics (open rates, conversions, lead velocity, etc.) 
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure MQLs and SQLs are properly tracked and nurtured
  • Work with content, design, research, and development teams to ensure campaigns are effective and visually compelling

Training and Support:

  • Work closely with content, design, and research teams to ensure campaigns are visually engaging and aligned with messaging 
  • Train and support clients and internal teams on best practices for marketing automation and CRM platforms 
  • Stay up to date with industry certifications, trends, and emerging technologies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience 
  • Proficiency in HubSpot and other marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua) 
  • Experience in setting up and managing lead scoring, segmentation, workflows, and email marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making 
  • Excellent project management and communication skills. Certifications in HubSpot (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software Certification) or other relevant platforms are preferred
