JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Associate is responsible for enhancing our social media presence across all platforms by creating original content, with strong graphic design, video production, and photography skills. In addition, be responsible for various day-to-day tasks, which may include communication with guests, conducting market research, participating in marketing campaigns and track status of major projects. The Marketing Associate will play a vital role in implementing and executing marketing strategies to drive visibility to the MPAC brand.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, content creation
- Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A commitment to the arts and arts education
- Ability to be appreciative of diverse perspectives, and a commitment to the organization’s initiatives regarding racial equity, diversity, and inclusion (REDI)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include but not limited to evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on occasion.
- Excellent research skills & ability to stay informed on best practices, industry trends & downtown happenings.
- Experienced in photography & videography, knowledgeable in best practices, and skilled with editing software
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in creating content for all major social media platforms
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and WordPress skills are a plus.
- Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
