We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to bring creativity and strategy together in support of our marketing team. This role involves crafting compelling content, designing visual assets, and executing campaigns that enhance our brand presence and engagement. Ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual, this position offers the opportunity to tell meaningful stories, drive digital marketing efforts, and collaborate across teams to amplify our mission.

The Role

Marketing Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and scheduling engaging social media content across multiple platforms. 
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and analyze engagement data to report insights. 
  • Develop and manage social media ad campaigns to increase reach and impact. 
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer demographics. 
  • Write blog posts, email newsletters, and marketing copy to enhance brand awareness. 
  • Assist in the creation and execution of digital, print, and email marketing campaigns. 
  • Track and report campaign performance, including promos, events, and fundraisers. 
  • Support event organization, including promotions, logistics, and marketing collateral.

Graphic Design Responsibilities

  • Create visual assets for social media, websites, and digital advertising using tools like Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. 
  • Assist with branding materials, including logos, color schemes, and marketing templates. 
  • Update existing designs and promotional materials using Adobe programs and Canva. 
  • Design web graphics, banners, and e-commerce assets. 
  • Edit photos for digital and print use using Adobe Photoshop.

General Support Responsibilities

  • Organize files, track project timelines, and provide administrative support. 
  • Incorporate feedback into design and content revisions. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to support company initiatives.
  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, design, or content creation (internships count!). 
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills. 
  • Basic knowledge of social media management, email marketing, and content creation. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva. 
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and website management is a plus. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • Passion for working with and supporting adults with developmental disabilities. 
  • Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding English. 
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including accurate typing, navigating websites, entering and recalling data, using word processors and spreadsheet software, managing emails, and familiarity with digital communication etiquette and techniques.

Starting pay is $22.00/hour.
