A rapidly growing national firm is looking to hire a reliable, self-starter who is able to handle multiple tasks. This position is both customer and inter-office focused. The right candidate will support the marketing department. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assisting and supporting the marketing team with marketing activities.

Research and Data Analysis:

  • Assembling reports by compiling, consolidating, formatting, analyzing and summarizing information, graphs, and presentations.
  • Analyzing and assessing the results of marketing campaigns.
  • Updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation and databases.

Creative: Advertising and Design

  • Assisting in the concept, creation, and delivery of marketing programs, printed and digital materials, literature.
  • Prepare mailers by formatting content and graphics, arranging printing, collation of materials, stamping and mailing.
  • Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications.
  • Writing articles and promotional material for the company.
  • Preparing interesting written copy for the website.
  • Uploading marketing material to online libraries, internet groups, and social media sites.

Event Planning:

  • Managing events, booking venues, and ordering marketing materials.
  • Shipping materials and managing event deadlines.
  • Provide support for marketing events and exhibitions as required.

Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications required. 
  • Certificate/Degree in Graphic/Web Design would be an advantage.

Experience and Skills:

  • 2-3 years marketing or project coordination experience required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Proficiency with WordPress/HTML a plus.
  • Website SEO/Analytics skills a plus.
  • Event planning experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of general office equipment required.
  • Sound understanding of marketing principles.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Well organized and attentive to detail, with excellent editing/proofing skills.
  • Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, strategic, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and switch between duties with little trouble.
  • Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Acts with honesty and integrity.
