Position Summary:

The Marketing & Social Media Manager role is primarily focused on social media strategy planning, content creation, posting, and social listening and response. This hands-on marketing position is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing communications strategies that are aligned with PSG’s objectives and goals for all PSG brands. Marketing strategies and tactics will be focused on improving our customer experience, growing our business, increasing awareness, generating leads, and supporting other business objectives as assigned. The Marketing & Social Media Manager will be responsible for the creation, development, and management of content, and social media posts, to ensure alignment with our commercial strategies and brand standards.

This role will engage with internal stakeholders (multiple facilities and disciplines such as marketing, product management, engineering, sales, business development, legal, IT, and executive management) and external stakeholders (marketing agencies, tradeshow and event hosts, consultants, customers, partners, buying influences, etc). The Marketing & Social Media Manager will also be responsible for the stewardship and management of the marketing budget associated with assigned areas of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and Plan (tied to overall company strategy and business objectives)
  • Create and Maintain Social Media Calendar
  • Produce Content: a) Write posts b) Create Graphics c) Produce/Edit Videos, Photos, Webinarsd) Share assets that resonate with target audience (e.g. White paper, case study, photos…) 
  • Post in accordance with calendar, or repost as needed
  • Social Listening and response 
  • Set KPIs, and ROI, Measure, Analyze, Report, Recommend, and Adjust 
  • Others communication duties as assigned: e.g. blogs, press releases, corporate communications 
  • Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, Legal, Dover Corporate, Agency 
  • Manage Content Library and Assets 
  • Create and adhere to brand standards, templates, and standard work 
  • Collaborate with and direct the work of external marketing agencies and partners 
  • Execute External & Internal communications 
  • Manage Marketing Budget, Content Calendar, and demonstrate the ROI of marketing programs 
  • All other duties assigned

Experience:

  • 3+ years experience in Marketing and Social Media Management 
  • Established Portfolio to exhibit skills and success 
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Automation Platforms (such as HubSpot or Marketo), CMS Platforms (such as Sitefinity or Adobe Experience Manager), and other online tools (such as Google Analytics, Google PPC, SEMrush, etc…) 
  • Expertise in using Social Media Tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc… 
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, including copywriting skills 
  • Experience in marketing through social media platforms such as Linked-In, X (formerly Twitter), Youtube, etc.. 
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating and working successfully with multiple stakeholders and teams 
  • Expertise in graphic design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) 
  • Experience in content creation (e.g. infographics, animated .gif, video editing)

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Language skills: Fluency in spoken and written English is required. 
  • Mastery in other languages such as German and/or French is a plus. 
  • Domestic and international travel up to 20%

Desired Characteristics:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc…) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photo Shop, Illustrator) 
  • Strong Understanding of CRM Platforms, such as SalesForce, is desirable 
  • Strong understanding of SEO (i.e. organic methods) and SEM (i.e. paid methods) including its relationship to content creation/management, key word management, competitive positioning, and desired results 
  • Experience working with PIM tools and platforms is desirable 
  • Channel management and marketing experience
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast pace, dynamic environment 
  • Ability to stay current on new marketing methodologies and technologies 
  • Impeccable organization and efficiency skills; strong attention to detail 
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated, works with little supervision. 
  • Experience working with an integrated B2B marketing and communications agency 
  • Marketing to decision makers in B2B industries is desired
