Position Summary:

Marketing & Communications Intern to assist with enhancing and creating lifestyle and career social media branding content. This position will assist with strengthening and enhancing Dover’s presence on social media in the talent marketplace while aligning with Dover’s employee value proposition and employer branding efforts. This internship provides an outstanding opportunity to engage in the corporate environment while working across multiple global industries. This is a paid position and will work onsite at Dover’s Corporate Headquarters in Downers Grove, IL.

Internship Objectives:

  • Work closely with Dover’s internal marketing team to further develop Dover’s social media platforms, with a specific focus on LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed 
  • Project manage, research, and curate new content design with Dover and its Operating Companies 
  • Further develop written communication and design skills 
  • Gain exposure to brand management, employer branding, and talent acquisition

Qualifications/Requirements/Desired Characteristics:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student working toward a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources or a related field. Recent graduates may also apply. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to interact well with colleagues of various experience, including senior management 
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Facebook, and other social media platforms 
  • Project management and time management skills
