JG Development is expanding our marketing and communications department and looking for a part-time marketing and communications coordinator to lead our B2B efforts. The position is mostly remote, with some work at our Dane County jobsites and offices in downtown Madison and Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, and may transition to in-office post-pandemic. A consistent work schedule of at least 10 hours over 4-5 weekdays, with flexibility up to 20 hours, is preferred.

  • Lead sales proposal and presentation creation, in coordination with the commercial sales team
  • Execute advertising; public, media, industry and community relations; tradeshows; and business development activities and events to generate brand awareness and qualified leads
  • Write and edit content and manage design of print collateral, website, email marketing and social media 
  • Support strategic marketing and communications planning, market research and reporting
  • Supervise client relations programs that result in repeat business and referrals 
  • Facilitate professional project photography and videography 
  • Implement and ensure consistent brand use and representation
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications field or commensurate experience
  • Experience and interest in B2B marketing and communications; commercial architecture, engineering and/or construction industry experience is a plus 
  • Demonstrated computer and software skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress content management, and social media; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign proficiency is a plus 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to high volume of detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal and problem-solving skills
