The Marketing and Advertising Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing marketing and advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, print, and social media. This role is crucial in ensuring that all marketing initiatives are consistent with the company’s brand voice and effectively reach target audiences. The Marketing and Advertising Manager will work closely with the Director of Marketing and other team members, including the Events Manager and Partner Managers, to integrate partner contributions and ensure cohesive, high-impact marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management

  • Develop, execute, and manage marketing campaigns across digital platforms (email, social media, display ads), print, and other media to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to ensure all campaigns align with the company’s strategic marketing vision and support overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Partner Managers to integrate partner messaging and secure comarketing funds for joint campaigns.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution of marketing activities, ensuring timely delivery and high quality content creation.

Advertising Strategy

  • Create and manage advertising strategies, including paid digital campaigns (search, display and social media), radio, television and print advertisements, ensuring effective reach and engagement with target audiences.
  • Negotiate with external vendors, agencies, and media outlets to optimize advertising spend and increase ROI.
  • Ensure all advertising materials are consistent with the company’s brand voice and positioning.

Content Creation and Brand Consistency

  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and external vendors to develop high quality marketing materials that resonate with our target audience.
  • Maintain and ensure consistency of the company’s brand voice across all marketing and advertising platforms.
  • Develop content for a variety of channels, including email marketing, social media, and website updates, ensuring it supports the company’s messaging and drives customer engagement.

Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Partner Managers (Federal, Corporate, and Canada) to secure marketing development funds and co-marketing opportunities from key partners.
  • Ensure partner contributions are incorporated into marketing campaigns in a way that is seamless and aligns with our brand.
  • Track and report on the use of partner funds in advertising and marketing campaigns, optimizing use and ensuring compliance with partner agreements.

Performance Analytics and Optimization

  • Monitor the performance of marketing and advertising campaigns, using tools such as Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM reports to track effectiveness and engagement.
  • Analyze data to optimize campaigns in real-time, adjusting strategies based on what’s working and what isn’t.
  • Prepare reports for the Director of Marketing that outline campaign performance, KPIs, and recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration with the Events Team

  • Work closely with the Events Manager to ensure the promotion of company-hosted events aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Create advertising and promotional materials for events, such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and customer events, ensuring that all event marketing efforts contribute to brand awareness and lead generation.

Budget Management

  • Manage the marketing and advertising budget, ensuring that all campaigns are executed within budgetary guidelines.
  • Provide regular budget reports to the Director of Marketing and ensure efficient use of funds for the highest possible ROI.
Requirements:
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related role, with a focus on campaign management and digital marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful marketing campaigns that drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Experience working in the technology, hardware, or B2B enterprise space is a plus.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Proficiency in managing paid advertising campaigns across digital platforms (Google Ads, social media, etc.) and tracking performance using analytics tools.
  • Content Creation: Experience in content development and ensuring brand consistency across multiple platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with partners, vendors, and internal teams to execute joint marketing initiatives.
Software and Tools:
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello) for campaign tracking and collaboration.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
