Essential Functions | Accountabilities | Performance Measures: 

  • Define and lead development of new products with insight from sales, engineering, and end users.
  • Conduct market research and review internal reports to anticipate product trends, marketing strategies and product lifecycles.
  • Conduct ongoing category assessments to identify sales gaps and growth opportunities. Review features, benefits, and costs of current products for product enhancements based on identified market opportunities.

Essential Functions I Accountabilities I Performance Measures (continued):

  • Establish a detailed, evidence-based proposal to justify a new project. Including investment, market-backed pricing, risk assessment, target customers and sales channels 
  • Create the marketing strategy for a product to drive profitable growth. 
  • Develop annual marketing plan supporting product launches and lifecycle that include branding (naming & trademarks), value proposition, strategic and competitive positioning analysis, messaging platform, and product marketing campaign for the commercial team. 
  • Identify budget requirements, deploy, and manage marketing timelines according to product launch plan. Accountable to track, meet target dates and optimize spend. 
  • Product and features marketing expert who conducts employee product training. Educating all departments on product messaging on new and existing product development. 
  • Lead and coordinate product marketing content creation, maintenance, and ensure accuracy of the following sales and marketing tools: published pricing, website, social media, literature, spec sheets, photo, video, etc.

Knowledge & Experience: 

Requires practical management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution. Typically requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline. Typically requires a college degree or equivalent experience. and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A or B.S.).
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing with an active role in product management, research & development.
  • Culinary industry preferred.

Salary Range:$100,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually
