Accountabilities:

The newly created role of Graphic Designer will be part of an enterprise Marketing team comprised of Marketing, Communications (internal and external), and Industry Events & Conferences and Creative Services to implement the organization’s communications and messaging strategy and plan. This role will support and bring to life the company’s key growth strategies, brand evolution and launch across the year and strong culture. This dynamic professional will play a key role in developing content for multiple platforms, telling compelling stories and support the broader marketing and communications needs across a range of stakeholders that reach internal and external audiences.

The candidate will 1) elevate SCA’s brand presence and deliver continuous improvement to our content strategy and tools; 2) support and further SCA’s mission, vision and values, including key culture programs. 3) Implement brand and marketing strategy across channels including media, conferences an industry events, digital and other mediums. 4) Support the rolling launch campaign of SCA’s soon-to-be launched new brand/logo 5) Support business growth through the support of Corporate Development, Service Lines and Sales team efforts. 6) Elevate the look/feel and provide support to the internal communications and events team for all programs, initiatives and live/virtual experiences.

Responsibilities:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for:

  • Layout and produce branded and custom marketing materials to promote the SCA brand across the enterprise 
  • Work will include but is not limited to brochures, email blasts, websites, proposals, new business presentations, invitations, signage, graphics, simple animation and video. 
  • Format research-based data and create graphics that portray a visually compelling story such as market reports, newsletters, infographics, statistical graphs, charts and tables. 
  • Work closely with 3rd party agencies and print vendors. 
  • Champion and become an expert level user for a suite of marketing technology tools. 
  • Translate creative strategy into creative assets, designing with a bigger picture in mind. 
  • Stay in front of design and marketing trends that help to generate brand awareness and position our company professionals.

Elements for Success:

  • Build strong relationships within the team and across the enterprise in support of key business growth and marketing efforts including stakeholders in HR, IT, Corporate Development, Sales, Service Line and SCA’s leaderships team. 
  • Work autonomously and effectively cross-manage multiple projects at one time. 
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team and internal clients to discuss and determine best design strategy and approach given the context of any marketing project. 
  • Take an innovative approach and bring new ideas to a team that seeks different ways to visually present information
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required 
  • 4-7 years of experience in an agency and/or corporate setting 
  • Strong graphic design capabilities and familiarity with all appropriate supporting design tools 
  • Healthcare experience is preferred; willing to gain expertise in the ASC space 
  • Experience working with c-suite and other leaders with the ability to listen and understand the varying needs of leaders and adapt 
  • Collaboration is at the heart of SCA’s work culture and this position will require the ability to build strong relationship across the enterprise with most functional leaders and groups, including the communications and events team. 
  • Must be an analytical thinker with the ability to understand a wide range of business topics and principles, think quickly on your feet and learn the complexities and nuances of SCA’s business 
  • May work primarily remote with the ability to travel as needed, approximately 3 times per year depending on the COVID-19 environment 
  • Candidates must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination 
  • Strong writing skills for business and culture communications 
  • Experience managing vendors required 
  • Experience supporting broad multimedia, multi-channel communications programs 
  • Deep working knowledge of communications platforms with an ability to learn new and adopt emerging technologies
