Graphic Designer

Using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, design advertising, marketing and communication projects as directed by the Communications Manager and Creative Supervisor.

Projects will include, but are not limited to, such items as:

• Weekly advertising flyer
• In-store signage, in both printed and digital (e.g. video screen) format
• HTML e-mail newsletters to consumers and associates
• Labels and packaging for Sendik's brand products
• Associate newsletters, associate internal web portal and other internal communication
• Custom photography of grocery products and special events
• Proofread and review completed projects
• Collaborate with store and department directors on upcoming events and promotional materials

• Strong computer skills.
• Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; Microsoft Office & www.OpenOffice.org product suites; and Google Docs.
• Must be able to work independently to meet uncompromising deadlines
• Excellent communication, prioritization and organizational skills
• Previous design experience required and retail experience preferred, but not required
• Photography, motion graphics, video editing and web design/development experience helpful
• A strong team orientation
• An open-mindedness toward change, with the ability to adapt to changing conditions
