Are you a creative mind with a passion for design? Do you have a knack for creating eye-catching graphics that tell a story? If so, we want YOU to join our Marketing and Public Relations team as a Part-Time Graphic Designer for the City of Oak Creek!

Duties, Functions and Supervision/Accountability:

  • Design amazing graphics for a variety of platforms, including print materials, social media posts, and digital content. 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring fresh ideas to life and make sure our brand is shining bright across all media. 
  • Manage multiple design projects, ensuring everything is delivered on time and up to our high standards. 
  • Create graphics that resonate with our community, keeping our message consistent and on-brand. 
  • Organize and maintain design files to keep everything easily accessible for the team. 
  • Flexible, in-office hours. Up to 20 per week.

Qualifications:

  • You’ve got experience in graphic design (minimum of 2 years) and you know your way around Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • You’re passionate about design and have a sharp eye for details like typography, layout, and brand consistency.
  • You’re a self-starter who can manage your time well and work independently, but also love collaborating with a creative team. You’ve got a portfolio that shows off your skills in both print and digital design.
  • You’ve got an Associate’s degree (or higher) in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin motor vehicle’s operator’s license is preferred but not required.
