We have an exciting new position in the Advanced Vapor Devices (AVD) marketing team for a contract to hire graphic designer who has experience working in the cannabis industry.

If you have a proven track record of success with at least 5 years of experience, including in the cannabis industry, and passionate about graphic design, with an abundance of creative ideas, we want to meet you! You will be instrumental in helping the marketing team develop new and exciting campaigns. And help expand our existing portfolio of visual assets across various media. As part of our selection process, you may be requested to complete a brief test assignment. The assignment is designed to be completed within a time frame of less than an hour.

  1. Maintain a consistent and cohesive brand identity across all materials, ensuring brand guidelines are followed while finding innovative ways to push creative boundaries.
  2. Develop visually stunning graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print media, including social media content, website assets, email marketing campaigns, presentations, brochures, posters, and more. 
  3. Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas and contributing to the continuous evolution of our creative process. 
  4. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  1. Portfolio of previous design work demonstrating a range of design skills and styles. 
  2. 5+ years proven experience in graphic design within a marketing or agency environment.
  3. Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with pertinent knowledge of the remaining Creative Suite as they pertain to graphic design. 
  4. Possess the ability to take design projects from initial concept through to final production, ensuring a seamless execution of designs across various mediums and formats. 
  5. Thorough understanding of design principles, such as typography, color theory, and layout design. 
  6. Experience in the cannabis industry. 
  7. Familiarity with B2B and B2C marketing concepts. 
  8. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, and error-free final deliverables. 
  9. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  10. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. 
  11. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. 
  12. A positive attitude, self-starter approach to work, and a drive to consistently meet and exceed objectives. 
  13. Awareness of UX principles and how design choices can impact user experience in digital media. 
  14. Knowledge of video editing and After Effects is a strong plus.
