We are looking for a skilled Fundraiser and with good communications skills to join our team and help advance our goals.

This position will play a critical role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies, managing relationships with donors and sponsors, and enhancing the association’s communication efforts. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising:

  • Develop and execute fundraising plans.
  • Identify individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations.
  • Organize and manage fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives.
  • Write grant proposals and reports to secure funding from foundations and private funders.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and track fundraising progress.

Communications:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the association and its initiatives.
  • Create and manage content for newsletters, press releases, social media, the association’s website, and other communication channels.
  • Manage the association’s social media presence, engage with followers, and build a strong online community. 
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms.
  1. Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Journalism, or a related field.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  3. Strong organizational and project management abilities. 
  4. Creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative strategies. 
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. 
  6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  7. Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience in event planning and execution.
  2. Some knowledge of grant writing.
  3. Familiarity with graphic design software and content management systems.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress and MailChimp.
