Position Overview:

Collaborate with the marketing team in the consistent and effective application of communications, advertising, promotions, events, and media relations to effectively execute on marketing campaigns and advance the Compeer Financial brand. Play a key role in ongoing value creation in our competitive marketplace, as well as positioning and maintaining the organization as the expert in rural/agricultural lending and a solutions provider for those who choose a rural lifestyle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in planning, implementation and execution of assigned Compeer Financial events and activities. 
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure there is measurement and follow up on appropriate events. 
  • Assist in the organization’s internal and external brand management. Ensure that all marketing and communications strategies at events and tradeshows support the organization’s branding strategy and support delivery of its brand promise. 
  • Work with marketing team to maintain/track the status of work flow and keep appropriate team members informed of pending activities and deadlines to ensure timely completion and follow up of projects. 
  • Management of assigned project/event budget within specified constraints. 
  • Create a centralized library of goals, staff training programs and follow up procedures for each corporate event. 
  • Maintain awareness of industry competitors and marketing trends. 
  • Travel to offices and attend meetings /events (25-50%) including overnight travel. 
  • Fully understand the organization’s products, services and tools to recognize the main selling features and benefits as they relate to specific target audiences.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree in marketing, communications or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in marketing, advertising, event planning, public relations or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel to offices and events.

Knowledge of:

  • Agriculture industry; 
  • Marketing and Event planning.
