MOTIS Brands is looking for an Email & SMS Engagement Specialist to join our team. This position will serve as the evangelist for the end user, armed with quantitative and qualitative data that provides analysis and insights into ways to continuously improve and innovate the digital customer experience across all Motis Brands digital properties.

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of both triggered and batch email communications 
  • Develop and execute Email and SMS marketing campaigns to drive engagement, retention, and conversion 
  • Measure and analyze email campaign results and make recommendations for improvement 
  • Proficient in segmenting email lists based on demographics, behaviors, and other criteria to optimize campaign effectiveness 
  • Upgrade email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features 
  • Ensure email layouts are optimized, user and mobile-friendly 
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices 
  • Coordinating creative requests to designers and proofread key messaging in and out of email templates 
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance and identify areas of improvement 
  • Coordinate the setup of landing pages and product attributes in preparation for email 
  • Coordinate the setup of product giveaways and sweepstakes with other team members 
  • Collaborate with Content team to ensure content articles are applicable to email list 
  • Incorporate Content Marketing into triggered and batch email sends 
  • Explore potential 3rdparty list rental and partnership opportunities and make recommendations 
  • Monitor email deliverability and inbox placement rates and implement strategies to improve performance 
  • Collaborate with marketing team to integrate Customer Data Platform (CDP) with email and SMS marketing channels for personalized and targeted campaigns 
  • Research our customers’ lifecycles and how they interact with our brand to understand the best ways to reach them via email 
  • Assist in the integration and management of loyalty and referral programs 
  • Manage SMS & push notification programs by scheduling, analyzing & optimizing accordingly 
  • Plan marketing calendars to incorporate all email, SMS & push notification programs 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in email marketing
  • Bachelor's degree 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience and knowledge of web technology tools 
  • General knowledge of how web technology and email/sms work in tandem
  • General knowledge of Customer Data Platforms and how they can work within the email/sms space 
  • Proficient in planning, executing, & troubleshooting email campaigns 
  • Possess customer-centric mindset Curiosity to learn more about evolving technologies & retail industry 
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work independently and solve problems 
  • Can effectively collaborate in a team environment with a positive attitude and constructive communication – you’re excited to be part of a team that challenges you and succeeds together!

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Google Analytics 
  • Experience with analytical and database tools and email service platforms (ex. Listrak, Mailchimp, Klaviyo etc.) 
  • Experience in coding emails using HTML & CSS 
  • Knowledge of email strategy and best practices including subject lines, messaging, segmentation, list management, deliverability and CAN-SPAM law
