The Director of Client Relations is responsible for leading the Client Relations Department Annual Plan Initiatives, researching and developing strategies for project pursuits, as well as guiding the firm’s communications strategy. This position supports all PRA locations. The Director of Client Relations has the opportunity to take on a leadership role in the firm.

Responsibilities (others may be assigned):

  • Responsible for market & pursuit research. Maintain firm data on clients and marketing information.
  • Review and approve all firm proposals
  • Prepare and produce interview presentations
  • Works with the Partners on go/no-go decisions on project pursuits
  • Participates in strategic planning with firm’s executive leadership to develop long range business goals and strategies to accomplish them
  • Collaborate with Client Relations team to generate and implement action plans to achieve sales goals
  • Develops and monitors the marketing budget
  • Produces annual marketing plans
  • Identify speakership opportunities and coordinate submissions and presentation graphics
  • Identify opportunities for networking events and attend events with the appropriate Partners 
  • Support and train firm staff in speaking and presentation responsibilities
  • Directs the creation of all firm marketing collateral to ensure consistency and quality of brand is maintained
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive communication strategy, including website management, social media and print media
  • Oversees web analytic statistic report
  • Facilitates competitive research as needed
  • Leads marketing team to achieve overall success
  • Leads internal fundraising campaigns
  • Leads event planning for PRA

Desired Qualifications/Knowledge: 

  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in an equally responsible, relevant professional service industry and strong interest in learning the architecture and design industry.
  • Experience managing a Marketing team
  • Proficiency in the following software applications: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Google Analytics, Search Console, Ads, LinkedIn Ads, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Pinterest, Issuu, ESRI ArcGIS, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Semrush, WordPress, and ability to learn others as needed
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively to target audiences
  • Strong leadership, coaching and team-building skills
  • Ability to evaluate assignments and to prioritize workload based on a definite timeframe for completion 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment
  • High level of confidentiality and business ethics
  • The ability to react quickly and exercise sound decision making in high pressure situations

Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:

Duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required. Work may be required outside of standard business hours as project needs may require meeting attendance or work be performed in evenings or weekends.
