Summary:

The Director of Advertising (Agency Partnerships) at Kigo will focus on establishing and growing relationships with agency partners that manage a broad range of brand advertising budgets. The objective of the role is to sell advertising solutions across multiple accounts by leveraging these partnerships. The Director will work closely with our advertising team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the diverse needs of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agency Relationship Development: Build and foster strong relationships with key agency partners to understand their clients’ needs and align advertising solutions accordingly. 
  • Sales Strategy: Develop strategies to engage agency partners effectively, ensuring Kigo’s advertising offerings are top-of-mind for their brand clients. 
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the advertising team to create tailored advertising packages that appeal to a wide range of brands managed by agency partners. 
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, agency dynamics, and competitive offerings to position Kigo as a leader in digital advertising solutions. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track sales performance metrics related to agency partnerships and provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the advertising industry, with a focus on agency partnerships. 
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage complex sales processes across multiple accounts. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the advertising landscape, particularly in relation to agency operations and brand management. 
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for meetings with agency partners and industry events.
