Imagine yourself.... a vital part of Aurora Health Care's new Digital Experience Team....developing and executing user experience, content strategy and digital creative direction for Aurora Health Care’s system-wide digital platforms, including AuroraHealthCare.org, myAurora and all secondary branded digital platforms. Establishing and maintaining a consistent branded content, visual and user experience for Aurora’s digital properties that reinforce the brand guidelines, personality, voice and tone. Providing leadership for system-wide programs, leading and inspiring the digital experience design team to work in a collaborative and strategic manner that delivers on Aurora’s long-term strategic plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs the creative development, planning, scheduling and project prioritization for all day to day team deliverables for all Aurora consumer facing digital properties. Provides leadership to marketing communications and other departments to rapidly define appropriate digital content strategies, digital design concepts, and user experience needs that align with the organization's long-term strategic goals and brand guidelines.
  • Directs the development and execution of digital experience design programs that support corporate, operations and IT initiatives as well as managing consumer digital touchpoints across Aurora’s service areas. Collaborates with the digital strategy and development team on the creation of digital assets and creative direction for digital projects, including campaign concepts and strategies, content, user flows and online experiences.
  • Manages agency counterparts and actively participates in the concept development process with internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for collaborating and providing thought leadership to identify and implement new design standards to address changes in digital technology (i.e., responsive design, interactive, experiential) across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Requires 7 years of experience in visual design/creative experience in multiple digital disciplines (web, mobile, user experience, display, mobile advertising, email marketing) in the agency or marketing environment, including at least 5 years of experience working in a digital creative environment.
  • 3 years of management experience in managing a team of designers, writers and user experience team members.
  • Expert knowledge of creative competencies including branding, art direction, copy writing and user experience. Proven success overseeing the development of compelling digital/interactive experiences. Expert knowledge of modern digital design and concepting tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, etc. Experience organizing and presenting ideas to senior leaders using visual concepts and business logic.
