PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Development Director will maintain and build relationships in a portfolio comprised of at least four top-tier accounts with over 150 corporate partners. Their objective is to raise funds, grow leadership giving, and identify opportunities for growth in existing and new accounts while utilizing volunteers and community stakeholders to meet and exceed campaign goals. This position will also utilize opportunities to partner with companies and engage employees in United Way’s work year-round on specific United Way Community Engagement strategies that may yield non-financial resources, including, but not limited to, oversight of UWDC giving societies/affinity groups.
SALARY RANGE:
$58,200 - $75,600 (based on experience). Along with salary, we offer a very generous employee benefits package. This position offers the options of health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. United Way contributes 8% of gross wages to a defined contribution plan that is fully vested after 5 years of employment, and employees also have the option to contribute to a 403b plan. Lastly, we offer our employees a good amount of paid vacation, sick, and personal time off to go along with 9 paid holidays each year.
