The Creative Director will lead a cross functional team of designers, presentation specialists and videographers in the strategic development of messaging, brand stories and creative deliverables. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Creative Director will be responsible for defining the creative and storytelling vision for the communications team, working closely with internal teams and external BCBS Plan partners on content development. The Creative Director will manage team priorities, establish schedules and manage projects to ensure goals and deadlines are met. The Creative Director will have a holistic understanding of the entire creative process in order to identify great copy and design. This role will also work closely with the brand team to ensure visuals, messages and interactive elements of a project meet brand standards and are properly aligned to the creative brief. Some hands-on design work will be required at times.
