We have an immediate opening for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Ideal Team at our Woodbury corporate office. The individual in this position will work in-office until fully trained; upon completion of training, there is the possibility of working from home up to two days a week with manager approval. The hours for the position are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM as well as other hours as needed.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Creating and executing an annual Digital Marketing plan geared to continuously enhance online communication and electronic delivery channel usage to current members, both general and targeted to promote organization growth initiatives. Coordinates cross-platform e-promotion postings and advertisements, leveraging social media channels and digital platforms to target select members and non-members alike, ensuring social media guidelines are met. 
  • Designing, copywriting, editing, producing, and fulfilling marketing communications in a variety of delivery mediums and channels including but not limited to: eMail, digital ads, direct mail, flyers, newsletter, brochures, stock literature, and print advertisements. eNews – once a month, statement banners, messages and insert branch merchandising. Annual Meeting, events, wellness committee, other direct mail management of POS and merchandising pieces, manage CU logos and requested formats. Credit Union form creation, updates, and overall management. Updating, creating digital graphics and advertisements for web, email, and social media. Plus, web banners, ads, Facebook graphics, online campaigns, eStatement banners, nag pages and billboards in multiple formats. 
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for processes, automations, and member’s journey/experiences. Perform quality assurance on outbound digital marketing and test list deployments to ensure content accuracy across digital devices and browsers, and link functionality. 
  • Various marketing duties of a general nature, such as: assisting with coordination, design, fulfillment of credit union marketing promotions within the digital marketing space, update of digital marketing collateral materials, and digital branch merchandising. Support credit union community events, annual meeting, foundation events and branch activities. 
  • Tracking all Digital Marketing and Social Media efforts (including sales from digital promotions) and reports results monthly through the marketing department’s social platform. 
  • Attending necessary seminars/training sessions to gain knowledge on the latest software web analytics and digital capabilities. 
  • Developing knowledge of and ensure regulatory compliance as it relates to the development of products, services and advertising across all delivery channels. Ensure advertising compliance on all Marketing communications including, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Regulation E, CAN-SPAM and ECOA. 
  • Performing other job-related marketingduties as assigned.

Experience: Five or more years of similar or related experience. Prior financial experience is preferred. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, CANVA, InDesign and Illustrator.

Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
