ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Digital Marketing Specialist collaborates with the VP of Marketing and Communications, Brand and Communications Manager, Graphic Designer, and other internal Groves stakeholders to manage the execution of GLO’s marketing and communication efforts, ensuring consistency of brand, voice, and tone. They will ensure this work is optimized and performed successfully.

Using WordPress, they will oversee GLO’s website including content management, publishing, optimization, and maintenance.

Using Marketo, they will oversee GLO’s email, events and newsletter communication. They will be helping to create distribution lists and building out campaigns and programs.

Using Asana, they will intake Marketing Requests, schedule, and manage workflow.

We are looking for someone who is also a self-starter and who proactively brings new ideas and opportunities forward. They will communicate and collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and work with other marketing team members to develop high-performing solutions that ensure goals and objectives are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Help to develop and implement strategic marketing strategies that reach target audiences to advance our mission, promote programs, resources, and services, and demonstrate Groves’ impact. 
  • Ensure all materials for internal and external use meet and adhere to brand standards. 
  • Help plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels including email, social media, PPC, SEO, and content marketing. 
  • Optimize marketing funnels and customer journeys to enhance user engagement and retention. 
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Develop digital marketing to support organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Help to create, publish and market original content across social media accounts. This includes taking, editing and optimizing photography for social media. 
  • Utilize Marketo and Salesforce to set up and execute lead generation and lead nurture campaigns. 
  • Manage list segmentation, preferences, A/B testing, and campaign performance. 
  • Manage newsletters using the Marketo platform. 
  • Work with GLO’s Project Management tool Asana 
  • Plan, oversee, and execute website content, publishing, optimization, and maintenance. 
  • Partner with agency partner on SEO/SEM, keywords, and paid digital campaigns. 
  • Help guide the strategy, analyze performance, and make recommendations for optimization. 
  • Partner with the Brand and Communications Manager to analyze the performance of social media and content strategies and make recommendations for testing and optimization. 
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing channels and assess against goals, making recommendations for improvement. 
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field 
  • 5-7 years’ experience in digital marketing 
  • Marketing automation experience, specifically with Marketo and Salesforce is preferred 
  • Experience with WordPress is required 
  • Strong project management skills using project management tools and software, experience with Asana is preferred. 
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Power BI, etc.) 
  • Experience in SEO/SEM strategies and campaigns preferred 
  • Experience in creating content and marketing communications is required 
  • Demonstrated success in building and expanding an organization's presence across digital channels. 
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and convert new leads 
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, listening, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a diverse group/variety of people and personalities 
  • Knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other presentation systems. 
  • Understand and maintain the confidential nature of student, organization, and employee information, including and in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
